Yeah the Sonic Cycle is overused and old but I'd think that it's painfully true, though perhaps not necessarily for Sonic Boom since people were already saying that it wasn't very good during E3 and the other events where people had early access to the game. Sonic Lost World fell into that category though.

The "Sonic Cycle" is dumb, ridiculous and just another way of showing Sonic fans being Sonic fans.

It's not SEGA's fault that the "cycle" happened. It the fans' damm fault. In my opinion, anyway.

While that's true, I wouldn't personally say that Sega has no fault in this. Sega seems to fail in creating a good Sonic game that would meet up with people's expectations. Of course I know that that's near impossible with our Sonic fans since nobody is really happy with whatever they're given but I'm talking about a good game that would be enjoyable to play as, as a GAME and not a Sonic game. You try and make a good SONIC game, you're going to have a hard time because Sonic fans will butcher you. But you try and make a good GAME and it doesn't matter if one or two sonic fans don't like the new eyes, the game will still be a good fun for other games that has quality and work put into it.

Unfortunately with Sonic Boom, you get games that aren't good games or Sonic games and that's partially Sega's fault, hence partially related to the Sonic Cycle.

You could have made a new thread, y'know.

Fixed that for you.

Eah it was just a Sonic related image. Nothing thread-worthy.

Like to say on behalf of our American superstore conglomerates, sorry for bringing Black Friday over to Europe, for another year.

Not your fault. I put the blame squarely on Amazon.

What about ASDA, your British equivalent to our Walmart?

Amazon were first. Everyone else just jumped on their bandwagon.
