Hell yes, looking good there.

Yes, it does remind me of Kryten...

EDIT: New assistant and first two episode enemies announced.

So...Is anyone else watching the new series? Or it is just me and Doc Shaneman?

I'm liking it so far.

I've been watching it, some good stuff. I guess I never really bothered with the last season or specials but, has the series got a bit more darker?

A little bit, but Steven Moffat always wrote darker stories than Russel T. Davies did. They're normally pretty good, but I'm not keen on some of his pet creations: Mainly River Song and the Weeping Angels.

Don't get me wrong, the first episode with the Weeping Angels was a cracker but as soon as they returned in another storyline I lost any enthusiasm for them.

Overuse seems to be the theme of the reboot. I groaned a little when I heard the first episode of this season was a Dalek one.

And now people blowing up is becoming a theme, but I'm okay with this one.

I really enjoyed today's episode.
I really wanted to see the statue of liberty giving a mean angel glare at them though lol

I too have enjoyed the fall finale episode. I was a bit sceptical about the whole Angels/River Song/Ponds thing, but it turned out pretty fantastic in the end.
And it was, in my opinion, a great way to say farewell to the Ponds.

The next episode is the Christmas special.
I read it today and was a bit peeved at that. Though I can see why they've done it.

Alas I do not have cable, but I have watched some of the teaser snippets to get caught up. (plus I did check out the recent xmas special) I actually enjoy this new Doctor. Its a bummer that a few friends get left behind (sadness)
