Nintendo helping out seems like a good thing to me, I dont see what the problem is. If anyone knows how to make a good game its Nintendo.

The only way Nintendo's help could be better is if they just booted the entire dev team out and got Retro to do it.

A game that hasn't been officially announced yet and already everyone is shouting shit. I'm glad nintendo are helping, it's a step in the right direction. I'm interested in how this gimmick is gonna work with the speedy platforming.

Read this on SSMB...and yeah, already there's people complaning about it...
The "re-colored" Sonic's sounds like something that been tried before, but in the video game industry, what hasn't...

As for Nintendo in "joint-design/programming" with SEGA, it can lead to two things in my opinion:
1: A good chance for some good level design and further ease SEGA's and Nintendo's business relationship
2: More bitching and complaining...which is sad, but gonna happen anyway.

I'm not interseted in this rumor though, if it's confirmed then that's that: I do have one gripe though(and please provide some sort of comeback/elaboration/clarity if you wish):

What's wrong with using, uh I don't know, Sonic's actual friends? Most of these recolors sound to have abilities that Knuckles, Tails, hell even Silver can do...Heh..."No friends syndrome" for recent main series Sonic games have dragged on for so long...

You make it seem like their still enemies. They been great for years now and actually worked together in the past and still are. SEGA is actually is one of the top developers for the wii. Plus the whole mario and sonic series, and nintendo allowing Sonic in brawl after the vote.

And of course Nintendo actually allowing SEGA to make F-Zero GX <3

If this is true, then I hope I don't hear any Nintendo-infused music in the soundtrack...

And why is it just for the WiiU? No PS3/360 love?

Man, I don't know. That couldn't possibly have been answered in the article.

Some Nintendo style music would be pretty amazing though, a collab with the Sonic Colours and Mario Galaxy composers would be earsex.
