True, but Ono plans to fix that (finally) in Street Fighter x Tekken, even in co-op training with another player.

Also, relevant:

But it was already in MvC3! I don't see why they couldn't have added it in AE or even the 2012 patch!

My mains:

Tekken 6: Leo and Mr. Excellent (and Julia when I can be bothered to use her)

BlazBlue: Noel and Jin (but I used Litchi a few times and... AWESOME)

Guilty Gear (the original): Ky Kiske. <3

---

Guys, seriously, is KoFXIII worth buying?

I've played a few of the games already, but I'm pretty curious about XIII.

It was (supposedly) released here at the end of last year, but I couldn't find it in EB Games.

Honestly, I don't play fighters all that much.

I really enjoyed Soul Caliber 2 on the GCN and DOA2: Hardcore on the PS2. I've played around with the Marvel vs. Capcom and others in that style/genre.

...and I guess clayfighter and mortal kombat count too ;)

One of the more recent games I played that I bought on a lark, and was interested in getting more PS3 trophies :rolleyes: was Lucha Libre Heroes del ring.

Of course, I know wrestling may not be a fighter fighter, but I enjoyed it, and didn't run into tooooo many problems insofar as the interface worked, a little glitchy at times, but overall a fun game.

Since I know everyones fighter tastes differ, I would just read up on it and check out player reviews for game issues. Should be fairly cheap nowadays.

I'd say so; it's good enough.

Speaking of KOFXIII: Updates!

Now I can't decide between pre-ordering Arcana Heart 3 or buying KoFXIII.

I have to find KoFXII before I can buy it though!

2 theories:
- It couldn't be added to the main game
or it'd break it;
- Ono was just on his lazy Tuesday.

It's a more complex fighter that Street Fighter or the VS. series, but it's more useful for 4-button players from Tekken or BlazBlue, and requires more timing between attacks. But that doesn't mean it isn't fun, it's one of the best sprite-based fighters along with BlazBlue.

Which is reason 1 of why I don't have mains in KoF. ;_;

And LL Triple A: Heroes del Ring is considered a fighter too, but a different type of one, more like a 3D fighter, and I haven't tried it, but it looks acceptable. o:

Well, the EB Games website doesn't have KoFXIII, so that means the store won't either.

Looks like I'll have to rent it or something instead. ;_;

Filtering! Maybe I'll be able to play it online now!

Whether it's worth getting? I'd say so, the game is fun, the graphics are stunning and there are a decent amount of modes even if you don't want to play online. Though it can be a bit tricky being expected to learn 3 characters.

Yeah, learning to use three characters was what I had trouble with the most in the other games in the series. I usually just stuck to characters that I could actually use, then ignored the other two in the team.

Is the team with Leona in it though? I used her in '02 a lot and loved her.
