I'm sure this will please some people:
Sega’s announced today that it has signed a deal with Atlus, meaning that it will see the publisher distributing the company’s games worldwide in the future.
Atlus has some pretty great games under its belt, such as the Persona series and recent european release, Catherine.
The deal is due to take effect from April 2012 onwards, meaning you’ll no longer need to import these wonderful titles in order to avoid the usually lengthy delay.
A playlist update will no doubt be required.

SEGA to publish Atlus titles in the West
This is definitley good news in my book! Atlus create a whole bunch of unique games and RPG's, and SEGA RPG's are certainly thin on the ground right now, they should just go ahead and buy Atlus >_>
I've not actually played any of the Persona games, or Catherine, but they're definitely in my hit list. I had a friend at Uni that was pretty obsessed with the Persona and Yakuza games, actually, it's all he used to talk about! They also crated Lunacy/Torico on the Saturn, which was one of my favourite games back then.
There are a few Atlus games I've been interested in that didn't get released over here as well, like Radiant Historia on the DS. I don't think it's likely I will see them either, but it's still great that SEGA are stretching out!
Does this mean we can add old Atlus RPG's to the playlist?

Hope they can give us first print runs as good as Ghostlight have.
Edit: Uh, where exactly has SEGA announced this?
All I see is Index Holding announcement that they're partnered with SEGA to help them release Atlus games in Japan. Can't see anything about this being a world wide deal and Shop-to offer no source to their "announcement".
