I didn't expect it to be an SRPG....I thought it was gonna be some sort of fighting crossover.....oh well....

Gonna give an update as a story sometime Wednesday, when I get the chance.

But I will say this: Ulala's back?! Now that one I didn't see coming from the SEGA side of things!

Woah. No Sonic. Don't know if I should be surprised or not.

It's sorta easier for me though. One less game to worry about.

I wasn't expecting a SRPG either! How odd, but I guess it's pretty cool. Nice to see the main two Valkyria Chronicles 3 characters in there, it's certainly a very Japanese roster of characters. Which means we will probably never see the game XD

I'll let you post about it though mtwinny, since you wrote the last few posts about it ;)

Really now, the developer was announced day one, how could you have expected anything different.

Banpresto.

edit: Some famitsu scanshere.

Oh I was wrong, Banpresto are the producer, still their involvement pretty much cemented the genre day one.

There is still a hint to fighter moves, as posted on IGN:
IGN wrote:Each character (check out the original story below for the confirmed roster) will have moves that fans will recognize from their specific games. For example, Ryu and Ken can perform the Shoryuken as well as, presumably, the fan favorite Hadouken move. X and Zero will have moves involving their X Buster and Z Saber respectively.
And my opinion on this? I did NOT expect an SRPG, so maybe this can be a great successor to Namco x Capcom:

EDIT: Updating the thread title.
