In last week's SEGA Raw, Nagoshi unboxed the "Platinum" (I think it's the The Best of in Japan) version of Yakuza 5 that comes with a special Yakuza Ishin Blu-Ray. And Westerns drool...

I should post that on the main website at some point.

Go for it. More Yakuza promotion isn't a bad thing.

Maybe if SEGA US/EU stopped flogging the dead horse that is the Sonic franchise so often they'd give Yakuza another shot...

(Translation: I'm bitter.)

Don't worry Kaito...it is coming.

It's been announced via the Playstation Experience event that Yakuza 5 will be arriving to the West (digtial format) in 2015. To add; the fourth and the Dead Souls installment are available today.

The dream...it lives

Fun fact, the game.originally came out on December 6th, 2012. Now two years later, on December 6th, the announcement that it's coming Westward happened. Talk about timing. Though it had to be a partnership just to bring the game out of Japan is what's the interesting thing to me.

What the hell is this weeb crap and why are SEGA wasting resources bringing this out instead of using it to make the next masterpiece in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
