I've plunged over 100 hours into Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes.

Still haven't finished it.

Spyro the Dragon.
Being as when it first came out I was quite young, I wasn't so good at finding all the secret areas to get every gem in the game.
I think the playtime on that drifts into months.

My copy of Pokemon Fire Red has the most hours logged in. It has about 350+ hours in it. I used to play it quite extensively back in the day.

For me, I believe it was Sonic Heroes. My file on my memory card says that it was at least over 48 hours (and I've had the game for well over 5 years.)

That's dedication. I barely made it to 100 once. In Fire Red to be more exact.

It doesn't happen only in Pokémon, in any RPG really. After I finish the game, there's not much to do.

well let's not forget emerald had the battle frontier, and if you have friends to play against and trade that helps a LOT in timing :P

Yes, I think so. I never met people who liked Pokémon, or people that owned a handheld system that liked Pokémon, so...

Anyway, I'm amazed by these times. The only games I remember now where I performed more than 100 hours are Rune Factory Oceans (Tides of Destiny), with almost 115 I think, since the timer stops at 99:99, I'm calculating the next 5 days before I stoped. Sonic Riders, with 145, and growing.
