Ah yes, I remember now reading that Jun Senoue used cat sounds in his music. Was it really dying cats?

No, it's a now it's a ran-over-it's-course joke at the synths Jun used in the game.

I got my old Genesis backed up in my closet, to lazy to get it. I got a controller for my tablet and I just play retro games on there most of the time now.

I usually play on the consoles themselves or via newer console collections / downloads (Virtual Console, XBLA, etc).
I own a number of SEGA consoles, so I have no excuse really.
That said, I seldom play games
Long time lurker and sometimes chief assistant. More the former.
