Personally, I'll listen to this show initially to garner support. It is a new RS show after all.Jon the VGNerd wrote:Hmm... SEGA Mixer Drive - Discussion Thread
Jon, I don't think they'll be on at the same time. According to the SSR website, Turbo Drive starts at 8PM; all we can expect at worst is a few minutes' overlap, but otherwise you SHOULD be able to check out both.Jon the VGNerd wrote:Hmm... Or even if there is an overlap, I found it hard enough to find a reasonable time. Saturday appears to be fully booked, and Sunday likewise has a clash of shows across many different stations (The Illusion on Radio Nintendo at 5, Radio Redux here at 7, and Nitro Game Injection on Arecibo Radio at 10). Hence why I found it more reasonable to go for a Friday evening slot on here.

That's a good thing; pick out a timeslot where it doesn't interfere with other shows' timeslots and where you can get the adequate listeners. Then again, someone may not listen to all those shows you mentioned, but that's just in my opinion.Rexy wrote:Jon, I don't think they'll be on at the same time. Yer I can understand what you say Rexy and your not the only one that has a show that clashes with another show on a different Station, for a start there's Ultra Wave when it was on that clashed with Silver's Saturday Show on RadioNintendo and I bet there's many other well known shows (not saying my show is well known, it's still to me very unknown lol ) that clash with each other as well but you can only pick the time slot that's best for you, at the end of the day it's up to the listeners on who they they want to tune into on which station.Rexy wrote:Jon, I don't think they'll be on at the same time. Hey, it's the best you guys can do at the time, as you and Rexy have said. And I'm sure most people would support a starting show. And besides, for me this show would start an hour before the sole show on SSR anyway, which is before Turbo Drive Live. That's perfect for me.Gavvie wrote:Jesus Pat, you need to learn what a full stop is
I have to agree though, the timeslot we've chosen for SEGA Mixer Drive is the best we could've hoped for, and the show will prove to be a very nice opening into the Friday evening schedule, especially if you like flitting between ourselves and SSR.

Ladies and gents, the show banner is now LIVE!
We are cutting it close as the first episode comes really close to broadcasting! The show feed is now live on RadioSEGA itself, my library is full of a great range of remixed SEGA tunes (around 2500 last time I checked so we'll never run short :D), and SAM is geared up and good to go!
As we come down to the last stretch, I can also reveal the first two known dedicated specials - one prior to Valentine's day, and another to mark the forthcoming arrival of the Sonic Stadium Music Album 2012! When the show gets started, there will indeed be a separate thread for tracklistings and all future themes, which will be updated on a regular basis; so check back regularly for what's planned - or if you have ideas on what themes can be covered in the future, feel free to chip in too!
So yes, GET EXCITE! :D
