Kaito is right, it was on the NA OST, and then in the HD releases.

Well this is regional reasoning but not all of Sonic CD's US music is that bad to me....lone exception being that one there you just posted. That is a devil's acid trip to the zenth degree.

I know, opinions, but that bolded part there...made me chuckle. Hell; I prefer the JPN soundtrack but still.

I thought the Us soundtrack was decent, but it just didn't have Robotnik's crazy voice shouting 'Dead or alive, Sonic is m-m-m-m-mmine!!!' in the last level. It's the little things.

Same; it's decent with a couple of standouts; it's clear it has its own vibe and to that I think it works well.

I just like the JPN's more zaniness and more...'virbrant' array of sounds.

I prefer it, and I really like that track. But I do agree that it doesn't really fit in with Sonic at all.

To be fair, the EU/JPN boss theme doesn't really belong either. (As much as I love it.)

Yeah... both boss themes don't really fit. Though I do think the English version, despite being good, is quite creepy.
