To the US users who haven't found out already, the 3DS will cost $250 (about £160). I'm thinking about preordering, but I'm going into GameStop tomorrow to see if they have any trade-in deals at the time being. I'd expect $50-$70 off the 3DS for a (barely) used DSi trade-in. I'll give 'em the box and everything.

The launch list looks okay, but I'm looking forward to all the first party games Nintendo has in store (Zelda OoT, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart, yeah).

EDIT: So GameStop doesn't have any trade-in deals yet, but the clerk said that they will start in a few weeks. He was kind enough to map out a plan for me, though: make a $50 deposit (aka pre-preorder) on the 3DS, wait for the trade-in deal, trade-in and add to my deposit, and then it's preordered. It's not as complicated as it looks.

I never thought to check until yesterday but im surprised the N64 games like Ocarina and Starfox are full priced titles. £35ish is an awful lot to ask for a 64 port. I thought it would of made sense to do them as a budget range.

You can pay a tenner for them on the Wii if you really want to play them in hideous 15FPS fog-o-vision.

Well I've changed my mind, I'm not gonna bother picking one up on launch. With a lacking battery life and a lame launch lineup, coupled with the fact a better model will be out by August there's really no sense in it

The 3 - 5 on the specs is close to what the DSi had on its specs, it's also for full 3D, full brightness and with wifi on.

Then if you think of it like that. The battery life is pretty good.

It's not great but it's no reason for people to throw a hissy fit about. Not that I care since I rarely play my portables outside.

I've pre-ordered a blue one with Street Fighter.
