gain ground would be interesting as 1-2 players could be heros and 1-2 players guardians and various other modes, yes it would be a lot like other games on the market, but it hasnt stopped developers from doing the same lol. crazy taxi could have races and other challenges besides picking up fayres to destinations, be the first to wreck your cab or if you break the speed limit cops come after you, mix it up a little.

Here's something that might interest you:

[quote="Eurogamer.net"]Other than realising his full Deko-Deko Mail masterplan, Johnson also hinted at a potential return to more traditional game design, and possibly even the franchise that made his name.

Looking back through the Sega history books, there are so many franchises that they have locked away. Just to name a few...

* Alex Kidd
* Alien Storm
* Altered Beast
* Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg
* Bonanza Bros.
* Burning Rangers
* Chu Chu Rocket
* Comix Zone
* Crazy Taxi
* Daytona USA
* Ecco The Dolphin
* Golden Axe
* Jet Set Radio
* NiGHTS
* Out Run
* Panzer Dragoon
* Puyo Puyo
* Phantasy Star
* Ristar
* Rez
* Samba de Amigo
* Shenmue
* Shinobi
* Skies Of Arcadia
* Space Channel 5
* Space Harrier
* Streets Of Rage
* ToeJam & Earl
* Virtua Fighter
* Virtua Cop
* Virtual On
* Wonder Boy
* Vectorman

Probably a bit of old news but I just saw an article saying that Sega plans to give a couple of old IPs new life on the 3DS. Cmon Jet set radio :biggrin:

I dunno, there's quite a few on there that are still current, unless you're meaning actual specific iterations of the franchises.

I did mean to just single out old sega franchises we haven't seen for a while. I just thought of whatever came to mind :unsure: .

Now that I saw Daytona USA on that list there, I'd love to see that game make a 2011 return in arcades. Hell of lot better graphics with remixes of classic tunes, ah yes... :cool:

I want another Shinobi game. The PS2 outings weren't great but they were very playable. Another game along those lines (Ninja Gaiden but 10x faster) would be appriciated

I think both NiGHTS, Samba de Amigo and Jet Set Radio deserve a return. It would also be nice to see fan favourite Jackle featured as playable in a NiGHTS game, don't you think?
