Yea that's what I hate about MK, it's full of loads of cool shit, neat characters, crazy moves and gore, quite a bit of lore it's just a shame it's attached to a shitty game. Still new one is fun to watch, just hoping it's as fun to play.Rayne wrote:Mortal Kombat is actually pretty epic, the characters are all really interesting and the OTT gore and attitude make it really fun to play.
Except it's not fun to play, the fighting system is clunky and awkward.
Really hope the new one sorts things out, I've been keeping a keen eye on all of the trailers.

Mortal Kombat's fairly basic compared to the best of the genre, and the combo system's a bit rigid, but I wouldn't call the controls clunky. They're really fast and responsive.
I have more fun playing MK2 and Trilogy still than Street Fighter 2 or Fatal Fury, or any other beat 'em up from that era really. It's just they never managed to make a game that could compete with stuff like Third Strike or Mark of the Wolves.

Tic Tac, sir?
Yesterday I made a very blue-golden purchase.
Bionic Commando and Resident Evil 5, both for the 360. :3

To you every game is bad, and both of them were 5 bucks so who cares.Reknoc wrote:Ohhh I get it, like the logo. I thought blue-golden was code for bad games.
Also lmao, the Iron Man in your avatar, I was thinking of using it myself. X)

I got Dragon Age II: Bioware Signature Edition on 360 through the post last week. Not played it yet, mind. It's actually given me incentive to go back through Origins.
Not too sure whether I'm going to do the Origins DLC though. It'd be nice to, but it'd just stretch the game out, and I don't think I want to pay a bazillion MSP for it.

Bioware Signature Edition? Does that mean it has a 10/10 review quote on the back by Bioware?Gavvie wrote:I got Dragon Age II: Bioware Signature Edition on 360 through the post last week. Not played it yet, mind. It's actually given me incentive to go back through Origins.
