When the 3DS was first announced I couldn't wait to get my hands on one but now, I have no desire to buy one whatsoever. I guess it's a combination of the overall battery life of it, the quality of the launch titles and the total price. I'll wait for more releases.
People are like books. We’ve all got a front and a back. You get my drift?
Got a 3DS on launch and I have to say i'm loving it so far. The 3D did take a while for my eyes to get used to but i'm really surprised how good the games i got look on the screen, very sharp.
everyone is going on about the battery life and the fact it region locked are two down sides but one down side i want to point out is that DS games dont look sharp on the 3DS screen. I put Okamiden on it and it does not look as good as it does running on my DSi. Shame really as many people I know will be getting rid of their DS's for the 3DS so I bet many will be shocked at the drop in visual quality when playing DS games. Hopefully a firmware update will sort this out but for me I wont be getting rid of my DSi, I love it to much to be rid of it.

Really? I thought Pokémon Black looked so much better on my 3DS. Perhaps it's because I've upgraded from an original DS rather than a DSi?7Force wrote: one down side i want to point out is that DS games dont look sharp on the 3DS screen. Or people look to point out areas in which something is lacking.Page wrote:No grumbles from me. The battery life can be addressed by turning down the brightness a bit and coming off the net when you dont need it. I played mine most of yesterday and it was fine.
Love the way people look to slate new stuff.
Probably, the original DS is like playing on a black and white calculatorKaito-kun wrote:Really? I thought Pokémon Black looked so much better on my 3DS. Perhaps it's because I've upgraded from an original DS rather than a DSi?

Ridge Racer is aces though, the 3D effect really is stunning and the game itself is kick-ass without it.
Pretty impressed by it so far, just hope there's a constant stream of releases, after I beat RR there's jack all else worth owning

Got my 3DS today. Didn't get any games though (I'm broke) but my brother got Street Fighter. The GameStop dude said some games like Mario Kart and Zelda will be coming out in May/June, so that'll be enough time to get money.
I'm liking the 3DS so far. It was kind of Nintendo to ship out the 3DS with a 2GB SD card already in it. The thing is sexy as hell, too.
