Pretty much sums up my feelings. The on foot parts aren't as atrocious as I was expecting either. Just a run of the mill Robocop em up. It's not often I do it but I have started skipping cutscenes though. They really are poo balls.

I downloaded Hexic for the Xbox just because it's free. Dull game, its pace is so slow. How do you die apart from getting bored to death and quitting?
Tic Tac, sir?

BLASPHEMY!

*Ahem* I played Kinect Adventures for most of the afternoon. Cleared the Adventures mode. Free avatar gear! ^__^

I much prefer avatar rewards over achievements.

Played some WWE All Stars, had to knock the difficulty down though as the CPU would pretty much turtle and reversal everything otherwise. Fun game, love the promo cuts for the fantasy match ups and the cutscenes in the "story" mode are pretty well done. Also as I was on the main menu Hell March from Red Alert was playing for some reason.

Gave Animal Crossing on the DS a try. Never quite understood what it was all about, but a few friends of mine loved it to death back when it was new. Heard it's somewhat like Harvest Moon and I kinda like Harvest Moon. At least for the first in-game year, then it becomes boring.

Anyway, I play it for some time, running errands for that Nook guy, make a Triforce constellation, design an awesome t-shirt, befriending some penguin chick and some muscle-freak of a bear. I'm not exactly having a blast but I'm never bored. It's just pleasant. I check the time and notice that I've played for hours. Seriously killing my free-time and robbing me of sleeping-hours.

I love it. At least for now.

I always thought Animal Crossing was some kind of Nintendo Copy of Harvest Moon. I love Harvest Moon myself but never played Animal Crossing.

Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing aren't really comparable at all.
