There are a couple of reasons for this:Dr Shaneman wrote:It still sticks.
I really have no idea how to fix that. Especially if it's a PHP issue.
1. Multiple Remote Sessions
Every new session on the server starts a new instance of the broadcasting software and a new instance of the software that synchronises the broadcasting software and the web information. These instances then fight with each other as to what is currently playing and what will be playing next. There's also the possibility that one instance may disconnect the other stream.
The likelyhood of this occuring in future should be reduced as I've sent a message to our Playlist Managers advising how to connect around this.
2. Software Issue
The software we are using to update the web information is still in beta phase, even this far down the line. It has a tendancy to stop responding on random occasions. It usually sorts itself out but it may take a track or two for that to happen.
After running the updates last night, I had left it in a working state. If it goes down again, just leave another reply below and I'll, or one of the Playlist Managers, will take a look.

It was a fun journey and thank you for having me.

We turned unregistered requests off a little while ago. Thing is, I think they're able to make requests via URL links, and there's not really anything we can do about that.
Except perhaps take the songs they're requesting OFF the playlist and then put them back ON, thus making the URLs expire.
Course, that's if they keep requesting the same songs over and over.
