Hmm, yeah. I'd heard it had been changed but I didn't know what to. I was disappointed. Hoped for something that would have been as charming as the first cameo but a random level sort of lacks the ability to make me smile.

Doesn't help that NSMB as a series has ass ugly levels. I mean I love the Wii game to bits, but the levels are so nasty looking. Could have been a Mario Galaxy portrait. Hell they don't seem to mind sneaking Skyward Sword references in it, could have been of Skyward Sword's Zelda.

They might have done the trick. The new Kid Icarus might have fit nicely as well.

Im a couple of chapters in now on Gray matter on the 360. Pretty standard point n click adventure game really. Nice enough characters though. Your main characters a magician and every now and again you need to do tricks to get further ahead. To do them though you need to construct and plan the trick from scratch which is a little difficult but good once you have a grasp on it. Only weird thing about the game is that it's bordered. And not just in a letterbox format but all the way round, top and bottom. Reminds me of the boxes mega drive games are in on the Sega ultimate collection. I've never played a full 360 title that's bordered like that before

I'd been looking into picking up Gray Matter actually, if it was a good little point and click game. Not many great reviews, mind.

I'm starting to find that I'm quite addicted to Geometry Wars 2 on 360. Am going to try and finish off Uncharted on PS3 today...once I turn the console on XD

Tried playing Geometry wars a few times round a mates house when he only had about 3 games and that was the best of a bad bunch. Never quite stuck with me for whatever reason though. I reckon I might not like twin stick shoters in general going on how much I've hated this new bangai-o. And I don't think Robotron is as legendary as some make out now I think of it.

I completed the Sonic levels in Sonic Adventure. Wasn't particularly interedted in it when I bought the Dreamcast collection, yet I liked playing it more than I thought I would. It's so much easier than I remember. The last boss seemed quite tricky when i was a kid; did it on my second go this time even though I was badly hungover. The only slightly difficult part was that snake part where you change the water levels and that was mainly because of the dodgy camera.

Saying that, most of my deaths were due to glitches instead of actually getting hit by badniks. At least Sonic's hands look better than I remember from the Dreamcast game.
Tic Tac, sir?

Just got back from a gaming weekend with some friends. Started up with Duke Nukem Forever and thought it was pretty fun for the first three hours or so. Then the flaws started to shine through way too much, so we drove in to town and picked up Alice: Madness Returns. While not quite as entertaining to watch, it sure was more enjoyable to play.

Couldn't manage to finish either of them though... :I

Atelier Annie for DS, my first experience in a proper Atelier game. Unlike Atelier Iris and Mana Khemia, the focus here is just the alchemy. It has combat, but it´s pretty simple.

It´s pretty good actually. The game consist in the creation of resort facilities for the island. The game is based mission, you complete requests of the resorts to give them fame, and the guild to give fame to your shop, and to obtain money as well. There´re many things to explain, but this isn´t a review. =P

The story is so simple that it has one mention in the entire game, the rest of the story is made with interactions of the cast.

It´s a short game, it can take you around 15-20 hs. to finish it. It has many endings, this depends of the path you create by playing it. New Game + makes the game more encouraging to play it, and gain them.

I keep playing it, trying to get the best ending.

Hey! BluePuyo's back!

I've been busy; thrown in a little bit of single player Minecraft when I could.

It all feels a little pointless playing alone though...
