I find most XBLA games a bit too costly at 1200. Thinking about it I don't think i've ever bought a game at 1200 points. Can't think of one anyway. Im just a cheapskate bastard.
Here's a preview I found. It details most of the new bits.

So it has scanlines, dip switch settings, online modes and different graphics filters!
Nothing the DC and old Xbox ports didn't have then. Ah well, at least they recorded a cheesy new rap song for it.
I don't think I've ever bought a 1200 point games either. It's because you can't buy that amount of points, so you have to buy at least 2000 just to spend the 1200 and it's as if you're being ripped off twice.

Not sure. Poison's definitely playable - however - the only footage I've seen of Hugo so far has been cinematic. He could just be a cameo. It's a wait and see deal.Killer French Bread wrote:So are Hugo and Poison different characters in this or is one just a cameo like in Third Strike?
That's why they're making two different games: Street Fighter x Tekken and Tekken x Street Fighter. The first is a 2D fighter (from Capcom) and the second is going to be a 3D fighter (from Namco).Killer French Bread wrote:I still don't see the point in the idea of mixing a 2D and 3D game though. They might both be fighting games but Street Fighter and Tekken are so different in terms of mechanics it's like having a racing crossover between Mario Kart and Gran Turismo.
How much is that in UK PS3 moneys?richarddavies wrote:Ooh you reminded me Bread, Third strike's been dated. It's out August 24th. It'll be 1200 points. If i've got the points i'll be picking it up for sure.

I've not seen a price for PSN yet. I'd expect around the £9.99 mark. May get it for PSN myself yet. Marvel vs Capcom 3 turned up today from Lovefilm for my 360. It's the first fighter i've played in awhile on the 360. Im going to give it a try and if I do what I think im going to do and throw a strop when I keep getting my arse handed to me due to the shit dpad I'll get Third strike on the PS3.
