Fuck me in the arse. The seal that goes round the windscreen on the missus car keeps popping out on the drivers side so she took the car up to her mates house as her husband is an "expert" on cars. He tried pushing the seal in that hard he's cracked the windscreen. It goes across about just over a quarter of the screen. It's two big cracks interweaving. I don't even know how much it is for a windscreen but there paying.

I've been doing my back garden with a mate all day. I hired a skip and filled it up with dirt and then graveled where we dug up. I can honestly say it's been the hardest days graft i've done in years. All of me aches. I didn't realize until the skip and gravel turned up that I didn't actually own a wheelbarrow so we've had to fill up some tubs I had and move it all by hand.

Just on the news now that Amy Winehouse has died. Been a long time coming but it's still sad. What a waste. Another member of the 27 club aswell.

I was keen on Amy's songs. Tears dry on their own was my favourite one, but there was no doubt tha she have been facing many problems. Here, in Brazil, she couldn't barely sing. The same on Portugal. Unfortunatelly.

Good afternoon California dude.

A car boot sale is a very British thing when you think about it, isn't it? Try to explain the concept to someone from a different culture and you'll be met with a confused look.

Spent this lovely sunny day watching a bit of sport. Caught some of the cricket and Formula 1 (though I'll have to watch the highlights for the full glory of Hamilton's victory), but my Dad's a massive cycing fan so I mainly saw The Cav steam home to win the final day of the Tour De France - the third year in a row he's managed it.

Good day for British sport all round really.
