I didn't notice it, though I live in Ohio. I guess it has to do with how I'm in Western Ohio and not closer to Virginia. Sucks for those in Virginia and around it. I hope everyone is okay.mtwinny wrote:I would love to agree with you on that but HOLY CRAP did anyone in the U.S. felt that earthquake?!?

Like Reknoc said, everyone knows wrestling is acted out. That still doesn't mean you can't hope the storyline goes a certain way and point out stupid things the company does with those storylines.Biggest sonic fan wrote:Wrestling is stupid. They act it all anyway. Cena wins because he is meant to win.

Like my idiot friend in Iran.
He's like this big wrestling fan and has all the action figures a shit and doesn't accept the fact that WWE isn't real. I keep telling him but he uses the parts where it actually gets bloody as an excuse.
Yes WWE isn't real, it's "entertainment," and hey I can accept that but I just keep that to the back of my head., but when there' are actual injuries (which are bound to happen in a match) then someone can't say "oh, he torn his muscle just so he can make a scene," Well, guess what buddy, he really did torn it, for a completely real reason.
As for your friend, he's kind of like this guy, no offfense:

As for the "bloody excuse" that's just a technique called "blading" where a wrestler would cut their forehead a bit for blood to come out. That's fake, but I'll say it again, it's all part of the entertainment factor, hence he might think it seems real. But since 2008, WWE has gone PG, so there's no more violence, trash talk, and sexual inuendo like it was back in the days (especially during the Attitude Era, whoo boy), even though the 'E was PG even befor that.
I can also accept the PG treatment unless it involved really corny stuff thron into an episode of Raw or Smackdown (and fortunately those kind of stuff happened...)
Lately, there's been an edgey shift in thier PG programming, thanks in part to Steve Austin doing what he does best, The Rock calling John Cena a "fruity pubble"

Ultimatley if you say wrestling isn't real, then that's your call, your opinion and let me tell you, that's makes you the sane person (unlike the guy in the vid).
(Whew, I never posted this much before since I got here >.<)
EDIT: Hey, um is there any Americans who knows of the impending hurricane that's about to smack into the East coast? You know, the one that's also reaching New York in less than 48 hours?
