Trading Card Games
Hm... I don't know. Does top trumps have any trading? I was under the impression you play with a single deck that you buy.Gavvie wrote:Nah, TCGs are fair enough.
Would Top Trumps be considered a TCG? I loved those back in the day, had a pack of Spiders ones...scared my sister shitless with the pictures :D
Thought so. Also Top Trumps doesn't have any deck building or strategy and is for babies. How's that for your more than nope.
Edit: Fun little thing I thought of, and in a category I forgot to mention; Fallout New Vegas has it's own TCG minigame (it is not the only game that does) but what's interesting about it is that it actually uses a normal deck of cards yet still has deck building, strategy (probably) and trading.

Yes, absolutely! I'd love to find out about other games that have them as well!MTails wrote:Do card mini-games count? If so I'd like to mention Triple Triad.
Such as RAGE which has a TCG, though I'm not sure if there's much trading and deck building looks to be on a per game basis. Not seen the full game play of it yet but it seems interesting.
And for people who like the youghyo, the XBLA game is 400 points (like 3 quid) but card packs are still 160 (about a quid).
