RadioSEGA's SEGATHON - Raising Money for Children in Need
RadioSEGA's SEGATHON - Raising Money for Children in Need
This Saturday, from 10pm UK Time, I'm going to be embarking on one of our most interesting projects EVER - A full 24 hour, uninterrupted live show! We'll also be raising money for BBC Children in Need 2011 whilst we do it.
The show will be full of great SEGA tracks and some guest hosts, most of whom have probably been on RadioSEGA before. We'll also have some giveaways, with Urtheart of Emerald Coast fame providing sketches for donations. I will also be offering up half an hour of continuous Hatsune Miku music if we hit a certain donation milestone, to be decided on Saturday.
If you want to donate, all you need to do is pop on over to http://www.justgiving.com/segathon and donate as much or as little as you'd like. Please also click GiftAid as well if applicable, this means that we can claim some extra money from the Government, thus adding to the final total. I do have a total that I'd like to raise in mind, but for the time being I'll keep that to myself. It might get divulged during the live show.
Whether you're able to donate money or not, please tune in to the show and make it a huge success for all of us!

Yep. There might be points where there won't be, but I'll let you know when they are.mtwinny wrote:Not sure if I can donate but I'll support the SEGAThon to the best of my ability! ^^
Just thinking about the long-awaited rest you gonna need afterwards, Gav!
BTW: Is there gonna be any music requests throughout?

If you can pull this off, I will have some serious respect for you.
I know might brother may not last, but I will probably fill in for him during the late hours.
I love how this feels like a big event...I just have that strangest feeling.
Oh, and I've been telling my friends about this at school and encouraging them to listen and take part. They said it sounds interesting, although they would never try this themeselves
See, I'm helping promoting SEGATHON!
About the Hatsune Miku thing, oh boy -that will be a blast (if it ever reaches that milestone that is).
