Apparently SOPA has been canned. PIPA is still there but it's been post poned. We have a new problem now. ACTA. It's similar to sopa but on a global scale. And this time, it's in Europe's hands.

Glad to hear SOPA crashed and burned(for now) and hope it stays that way...but now something's much worse is rearing its ugly head....

I swear, this is going to be much more tougher to fight, knowing that many other nations already inplement some kind of Internet censorship as far as I'm aware of.

I'm sorry if that's relating to SOPA or not...but what the hell are you talking about regardless?

What you're talking about is DRM which is never the answer. All DRM does is punish the actual consumers.

DRM can also be bypassed. It's not by any means full proof. The problem with these laws isn't the fact that they're stopping piracy, it's the EXTREME measures they're taking to do it. 1,500 dollar fine for illegally downloading a 99 cent song? Bullshit. Not only that but they'll be able to revoke your access (or even completely shut down) to your favorite sites if they so choose to. This means YouTube.

Shouldn't be. RadioSEGA has permission from Sega to play their music if I recall correctly.
