Finished off Tomb Raider Anniversary on the PS3, got all the collectibles and did it on hard. Would do the time trials but I kinda don't want to do the levels again so soon. So I'll move onto my playthrough of the PS3 version of Underworld on hard while trying to collect all the treasures.
Had this past week off work, so I've been trying to hammer some games so I can trade them in for more games. Nowhere near the list I want to actually trade, but here's what I've finished:
Red Faction: Guerrilla (Main campaign, still got DLC to do) Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Amped 3
The two K&L games had been bought as part of my "Worst Games" series, so...might get reviews of those written at some point.
I lumped them into that catagory because of the bad reputation they had, and certainly had no personal judgements of them before playing them.
Finished the laughably short DLC campaign of RF: Guerrilla today. It took around 2 hours, if that. I forget how much I paid for it, but if it was the 800 points it released at, then that was a seriously poor decision. Fairly sure it wasn't, though.
The only bad reputation the K&L games have is because of the whole Gerstmenngate thing on Gamespot. Most people just consider them pretty average shooters.
The publishers paid a guy to give a good review but it somehow got found out and ended up doing nothing but getting bad publicity. So bad people now think it is one of the worst games ever, seemingly.
Gamespot had a bunch of advertising and banners for the game at the time. Then when it got reviewed it ended up getting a 6/10. Gerstmann got fired for it and the review was changed to be more positive.
