I'm not sure but I'm guessing that GAME Australia will probably also be effected by this?
I never really went too much to game to buy stuff but I did buy my Sonic Wacky Wobblers. I always found them to be quite a rip though. I always found what I was looking for, a lot cheaper at other video game stores. Though that only applied to the video games. the merchandise are usually a bit cheaper.

Yes. GameStop are considering a buy but they aren't too keen on the Aussie branches. Story.Biggest sonic fan wrote:I'm not sure but I'm guessing that GAME Australia will probably also be effected by this?

This depends on alot of factors. I worked at the head office of Music zone some years back and was there when they went tits up. They only rented all there stores so they had no land to sell and the same thing happened with them that's happening to GAME in regards to stock. The stockists/publishers wouldn't sell them stock and in Music zones case they even asked for there stock back as they knew the company was in shit so wanted to cut there losses.
I'd imagine GAME are in similar territory. From a buyers perspective they won't have stores to sell and they don't have stock to sell now either. They'll be pretty much looking for a buyer based solely on there brand name and what it's worth to customers.
