Then I definately wouldn't if I was you. It's well not worth it for the amount you use it. I suppose thinking about yourself. You've made me think. I suppose Live's worth is down to the indiviual. If you use it everyday your going to get your money's worth. If not I wouldn't bother. As far as differences between the ps3 and the xbox. They've all been said before really but the main one that grates with me is the speed of it all. I can't put a new game in without having to pop off to the shops for an hour while it updates. I can't even put into words how much it is mentally breaking me down. Everytime I put one in. Updates. Eeww. Why do they take so long Sony? WHY? It's like chinese water torture.
That's bull, particuarly with games nowadays. All games have patches, that's due to shit developers but when it comes to installs most games now do it in the background while you play (and with every 360 game I have to install the bugger anyway, it's impossible to play with just the disc).
When it comes right down to it, you shouldn't be charged for Live in the first place. Rich, you might get your money's worth, more power to you, but it's money you shouldn't have to spend in the first place.
And all that 'live is faster than PSN' is just bull :/ compare Killzone to Gears and there's no contest

EG:
COD:MW2
PS3
Bad - You do tend to have 1 or 2 more connection errors than on 360 (but that could be my internet, its fucking terrible)
Good - Theres only 1 hack... the prestige hack
360 - Bad Its full of screechy american kids acting the big man over live
Bad - Theres a shitload of hacks, always has been always will be
Good - Only time you get connection errors is when host leaves

Haha, well that's certainly true!CapnCloudchaser wrote:To be fair though, I would sooner pay £40 a month for online play, than the £500 a month I paid for to play online for my Dreamcast haha.
The cherry on the cake was that Live was down from 12 to 3pm today :/ on my day off....blaaaagh
Probably because they've never sussed out how to connect a wireless headset to the PS3.Gonic wrote:Ive always pefered online pay on PS3 anyway. There not as many whiny people on there then there is on 360.
I've had Warhawk since it came out with the headset, pretty much, and I've never been able to set it up, despite doing what the instructions told me to do countless times.
I even followed the tips of a friend who'd got his all set up. Did it work? Nope.
