Genuine interest. I can't think of a reason why SEGA would remove them from the VC.

In that case; it's baseless speculation and conspiracy time! I'm going to go for a potential collection I mentioned in my previous post.

I'm not so sure, I mean the Sonic games are on XBLA and PSN as well as the mega drive collection.

Maybe this is some preparation for the upcoming Wii U launch but... I'm not sure why they'd have to remove things from the Wii's VC.

Asides the fact the XBLA/PSN games were emulated so poorly because the sound was so raped and the Mega Collection Plus versions had save states so nothing new was added to them what-so-ever aside slight updated resolution.
I saw so many complaints at those versions that I don't think SEGA will lose much by taking them down.

SEGA aren't taking the XBLA/PSN versions down, they're removing the VC versions which are just straight rom dumps.
Besides I highly doubt they'd take them down just because people complained.

All I was saying was they're taking them down due to lack of interest because the Wii emulations were also poor and no one was buying them.
They sold more on XBLA/PSN because of the HD.

Apparently, SEGA "tried" to make the graphics more HD like.
Dio with that what you will. Personally, I'm a person who doesn't care for making things all HD/3D anyway as I'm happy with what was meant to be.

I'm kinda feeling this way in the sense of this. I enjoy games for what they're worth.

Those emulations on XBLA and PSN were in HD? What's the point of that?
