The first trailer for "The Wolf Children, Ame And Yuki", the new film from Mamoru Hosoda the director of "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and "Summer Wars", is out.

More on the film and the trailer with English subtitles can be found here.

:D I love you.

I love Mamoru Hosoda. Summer Wars is one of my favorite anime movies, and i loved "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time". Hopefully this one is good.

I share your sentiments, although I'm curious to see how Hosoda handles this: While it'll no doubt have that touch he has when it comes to inter-personal relationships, I'm curious to see how he'll handle an original project of his has more fantasy leanings than his usual hints of sci-fi.

And I like you as a friend.

Oh, is that Hosada's new furry anime? Meh, he should go back to making One Piece films.

Hmmm, interesting. I've never really looked into Lupin the Third before, though this has piped my curiosity.

You definitely should, the original TV series is where Miyazaki got his start, and it's also one of his greatest films (Castle of Cagliostro).

So...I'm going to feel a little weird saying this, but...I think playing DW: Gundam 2 & 3 might just have gotten me interested in watching the anime.

Not quite sure where to start though. I'm aware of all the different series, and ideally I think I'd like to watch them. It's just knowing where to start...and knowing where I can watch them.

Since you played a gundam game does that mean you're in the mood to watch a mecha anime or any anime in general?
If a gundam series i enjoyed Gundam Seed and Gundam 00.

A good mecha anime i just finished was Code Geass, very good show! I recommend it. (I'm sure reknoc agrees with this since he told me to watch season 2 :I) and its a short series which is always a good thing, i tend to get bored when a series has 50+ episodes per season. (except FMA)

Holy fucking christ no.

If you want to get into Gundam the dubbed versions of the original and Zeta are on Crunchyroll, you can always try there. Again, my usual list still counts though.

As for where to watch them there's not all that much choice.

For newer series: torrents, Crunchyroll
For older series: maybe there was a DVD release (not likely), torrents.
For movies: DVD/Blu-ray release, torrents.

edit: Oh, you just want to watch Gundam, well I'm taking the franchise head on in order of release.
