Yes that's what I meant with the 200 thing. And even when you unlocked him, he didn't have any new levels or a story. He was just a copy of Sonic though with a few extra moves I believe.Dr Shaneman wrote:Sonic Adventure DX (unless that's what you meant about the 200 emblems thing as I've never played any Drift game)
This one though, you actually get quite a bit with Metal Sonic.

I just seen the screenshots from the Japanese Sonic 4.2 site, and Oil Desert Zone looks great. Looks like the Oil Ocean dried up...
Makes a great reference of sorts to Sonic 2's Oil Ocean as well without (hopefully) copying everything from the original.
The two Metal Sonic screenshots highlighting Splash Hill and Lost Labyrinth really clash with the new zone...except what appears to be Generations's Stardust Speedway Bad Future. Very detailed.

SEGA said there were going to reference past zones but not as far as to the music. Besides, Jun Senoue didn't originally work on Oil Ocean Zone in StH2, he wasn't even hired to make the music back then.Quills on Wheels wrote:What?! But... But...
It was soo good.... it sounded like the Sahara or Egyptian style. I liked it... and the remixes after that were nice too.
