No, I just don't think he's had the freedom required to do anything amazing. In fact didn't the press release for this game say he was going to be remixing SEGA classics? Zzzz.

Yeah...kind of a bummer. And I have a feel most of the tracks he's remixing will be Sonic-based. :P Still, I'm optimistic for the music regardless. :P

He should just "remix" the Sonic R OST, and by remix I mean just port it.

Because it's that good the Sonic R soundtrack? Or it that some smart way of saying the the game's music will suck? I'm hinting towards the latter in your case.

And I know it's just a little tease, nothing serious.

Because it's so awful it actually ends up being amazing. Unlike the Sonic 3D soundtrack which is actually good.

Oh he did? I never played the game so I really can't say anything about the music from that game. :/

Having Richard Jaqcues do the OST isn't that big of a deal for me. They should have got Naganuma.
Damn, forgot about Nagamuna....I think he left SEGA tho...man, I feel he could really touch up the music if he was a producer...

ASRT music will be filled with samples of HOT HOT HOT *FLEES*

I've never been a massive fan of Naganuma (Although he has good tracks in parts of the Sonic Rush OST) but I don't feel he's suitable for the music in this game (besides the Jet Set Radio levels duhh! XD ) but I feel IMHO he's not needed for this game, Richard has done many great music for Racing games in the past (Forza 4 being the latest, he did a few tracks for) so I trust he'll make great music like he did in first ASR game (DAT MENU MUSICS!) so MOAR RICHARD PLOX!

Gave the Blood Stone OST a skip through but I can't say it seemed all that interesting. Not bad, just a rather standard Bondy soundtrack.

Well I wouldn't really recommend playing them today, go with Returns instead. You could just listen to the soundtrack on youtube. Here's some stand out tracks.
