Anime & Manga Discussion
I've got the DMC anime on Blu-Ray, bought it cos it was a tenner or something daft like that. It's not that bad, pretty short (only one season of 12 episodes). Don't expect it to have much in common with the games though, because aside from Dante and a couple of cameo characters, it's completely different.

I've been going back to Cyborg009 the 2000-2001 version. And what I found out through Twitter is that there is to be a 2012 film adaption of it made by Production I.G. with Kenji Kamiyama (director of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) for Japanese audiences. Needless to say...I'm awaiting its release.

I remember hearing about the movie like, a year or more back? Never really bothered with Cyborg009 but I hate bad looking CGI anime films.
Cool music though.
Edit: I guess bad looking is rather redundant since CGI anime implies as much. Though I do have Planzet to watch, which actually looks really good judging by the trailer.

Speaking of terrible CGI anime. I watched Dragon Age Dawn of the Seekers movie the other day. To be fair the (atrocious) CGI was the least of that films problems, but it never had a chance of being good since it had the Bioware taint.
edit: oh yea, I checked out the the new manga by the Hellsing guy. It's pretty cool, a fantasy setting and has people from history as the main characters, also the main bad guy may be Jesus. Shame it's a monthly manga with a weekly manga page count.
editedit: I'm also rereading Hellsing from the start since I never finished it. Can't believe how bad the art was at the beginning. Oh and since Steel Ball Run has finally been fully translated I've been going through that at a decent pace.
