Just thought I'd revive this because we're getting closer to the release date. Anyone still thinking about buying it? I own the game for Gamecube but I'm tempted to buy it so I can chat with my friends over XBL while playing it. Is that a bad reason?

Im gonna get the trial for definate and if im impressed with the port i'll pick it up. To be honest I might pick it up regardless. If it sells well it'll give Sega even more encouragement to release some dreamcast goodness on XBLA.

Agreed. By the same token, I wouldn't want to encourage them to repeatedly put out a bad product. Let us not forget Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 on Dreamcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMJ9C4bBKLk or Sonic 1 on Game Boy Advance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8W6MuuKCB8 I hope that this version isn't plagued with frame rate drops that others have had. -_-

I agree that I'd like to see the best product possible, though I was just looking on SEGA's website:

http://www.sega.com/games/?g=5903

Apparently the graphics have been updated along with the audio, and the Chao garden stays so I am pretty positive that I will buy this next weekend.

I have the Gamecube version but I'll probably be buying this as well for the online stuff and the achievements.
