I never heard of Chromehounds. Is it a bad thing? D:

But yes, it's too bad that PSU is getting shut down, probably they're making more room for PSO2, even on the Vita, so I guess it's comprehensible.

Pretty sure after seeing it on the front page, SA2's is returning as expected. But just in case, here's the post.

It's October 11th if you're curious. It was in this week's Famitsu.

I feel sorry for the guy that had to say this:
SEGA is entering a new and exciting phase that will position the company as a content ledorganisationmaximisingsales with strong and balanced IP such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Total War, Football Manager and the Aliens franchise.

I'm somewhat devastated. It saddens me to know that the Australian Branch will close down. Especially since a little part of me wanted to one day perhaps get a job at that place...

The big news coming from this week is a very saddening one, as many regional offices from SEGA Europe and the office in SEGA Australia has shutdown, resulting in lots of job losses. The news was reported back on Wednesday, as the company continues to shift towards maintaining core IPs and looking at digital gaming.
But there are some great SEGA news to recap on! So, as for the rest of the news....
  • Hideki Naganuma, the man who created the music to SEGA favorites such as Jet Set Radio and Sonic Rush, will be soon interviewed by us here at RadioSEGA! Your's truly has managed to snag the "Concept of Love" composer for a series of questions based from his work with SEGA as well as other endeavors! There's still a chance to send Naganuma-san your questions, so get to it!
  • SEGA will be appearing at the 2012 Tokyo Game Show! We don't know what they'll show but it's nice to see them appear again regardless!
  • Some Project X Zone recaps coming in! Firstly, there's a date for its Japanese release, and it's October 11th! But again, it's for Japan, so yea...
  • For any fans out there that like Seaman (and pretty sure there are) take a look at this picture for a moment. Return, perhaps?
  • Going back to Project X Zone, there's more new info on the game itself, including new original characters, special features and its...packaging!
  • Windows Phone users can now go bananas with AiAi and pals in Super Monkey Ball: Sakura Edition! Roll along in new mazes all set with a Far Eastern flair!
  • And lastly, just for fans of Andy Murray, who made it through the second week of Wimbledon, we bring you a special video showing the tennis pro with Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition on the PS Vita!

I wouldn't be. As I'm sure we've discussed before, SEGA Australia didn't actually do an awful lot.
