So I've finally gotten to episode 3 of Late & Recorded (Yeah, still 2 or 3 months behind, but slowly catching up!), and I was shocked to hear my name just now! I nearly dropped my sandwich at work when I heard that! :p Starstruck!!!!! :wet:
And no probs that you got my location wrong, ResSD. We all make mistakes... just usually not live on the radio :p

BTW, I love Late & Live/Recorded! It's much more dancey and upbeat than SNS, so the ratio of songs that I actually like has been higher. Shame it's only 1 hour. But then again, any longer and it'd take me even more time to catch up! Only 70 miscellaneous podcasts from the last few months to go till I clear my backlog! :p
Anyway, keep up the good work ResSD! :gottogo:
So nice to hear fans voice their pleasure here about the show. And I totally agree; this show is way more upbeat than all the other shows. See....this 'Late and Live/Recorded' thing is a great thing for RadioSEGA! XD

Great to hear you're enjoying the show! The point of the show is to be a party mix, so if you like your tracks uptempo then this is the show for you really!

I'll give you a shoutout on tonight's show, though it could be a while before you hear it....

Thanks for your comments - it's always great to get feedback from listeners.

Agreed - up to episode 3? Those are the rubbish episodes - just wait till you get to the more recent ones!

BUMPY BUMP.

So, after checking the upcoming episodes, I see LaL is going back to 2010 with the "Friday Night Mix" episode! Maybe I should prep for that by listening to the original SEGA AGES episode of the same name? XD

I've updated the tracklistings thread with details of August's shows, which includes three themed shows as it's a five week month. The Hedgehog Re...Mix show, which was originally scheduled for pre-SoS night, will now go out on August 10th, followed by a show that goes back to Late and Live's roots -the first all Dance Mix is live on August 17th, followed by our third Rock Mix on August 24th.

As usual, we start and end the month with a Late and Live Mix and a Listener Mix on August 3rd and August 31st respectively, the Listener Mix being the 30th episode of Late and Live!

Sounds like an excellent idea to me!

Of course, the big difference this time will be that requests will be open this time around, though I will have be very stringent on requests - if it isn't what I class as dance, it won't go in the show I'm afraid.

Good call. We want it to be dance, damnit!

Just listened to E19 Extra - The Orchestral Mix. Some very cool orchestral stuff that I'd not heard before. And I guffawed  at the Sonic Unleashed E Grade track XD

Still in catch up mode, but I'm getting there - only 51 podcasts to go!
Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to listening to the Metropolis Mix and Summer of Sonic eps! :rockin:

Oh, and thanks again for the shout out, I think it was around ep 14... once again I wasn't expecting it and had to make sure I didn't crash :wet: into anything because I was driving at the time!

I always look forward to your posts from the past! Glad to hear you're still listening to the show and especially enjoyed the Orchestral Mix - that was certainly one of my favourites too!

Ep 10, ep 10... oh! The rap episode? Yeah, loved it! :guitar: It got me into the Mad World music a lot more, and drew my attention to Charles Hamilton. I haven't had time to listen to his stuff, but I grabbed as much stuff as I could of his. That guy sure seems... "interesting" in his obsession with Sonic... But the guy definitely knows how to make some choons :)

:P Glad you find my messages from the "distant past" fun  Reminds me of the movie Frequency that I just watched properly for the first time last night  Almost all the episodes have been great, but I think the dancey ones from the beginning are my favourite. I need music to shake my hairy white money maker to :rockin: The orchestral and hip hop eps are a close second, though!

One cool thing about the variety in the shows is discovering new tunes. Hearing F-Zero GX's Dr. Stewart was really cool! I think that was ep 13, maybe. I thought I had a complete F-Zero GX tracklist, but it turns out it was far from complete! So thanks for that.

Keep on making great shows, and I'll keep trying to "expand" your audience - my son knows Late and Live very well now that I play it when I drive him home from playschool! Though unless the songs are from Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, he doesn't want to know :D I'll win him over eventually...
