dont you think sonic has done as much as he can and spin offs also? they have tried so many angles with sonic games from megadrive onwards what is next? sonic gets married but he lost his ring so he has to go on the everlong quest to find it.... but whats this.. robotnic has it?? can you see where this is going lol

now dont get me wrong ive always been a sonic fan during the great war but even i know they almost exhausted their options, if they have made the new sonic game good ill be happy and leave it at that forever more, i can always rely on my nostalgia to get me through a sonic drought!

if there was any changes i would say mini games... not just collect rings in special stages, how about mazes, puzzles, sky flying.... anything really that can add an extra level of interest and diffaculty to give you that worthwhile play through

It was just an example...

Mario games seem to be selling nowadays with stellar reviews while Sonic games have not.

Because Mario games are still GOOD. They kept the spirit that the original games had unfortunately Sonic has not since SEGA only cares about making a profit.

What about playing as Robotnik (sorry, Eggman for post-'Adventure' fans) and the objective is to capture animals, turn them into robots, build a Death Egg and a sprawling chemical/mechanical metropolis, design a Mecha Sonic and then defeat Sonic in a final battle.

The Return of Mario Robotnik....wow that would be something..

Maybe SEGA should try to top Sonic 360 and see how bad a game they can make without still going bankrupt.
