I don't see why penguins are popular.

They did. I never finished it when it was airing so I'll be picking it up.

What is it about anyway? It's a comedy series, right?

What's it about? Hmmm, uh, I couldn't really say. There's these brothers and a terminally ill sister and some penguins... it's not a comedy.

I think it's about fate...

Huh, that's odd. In my mind penguins = comedy.

Well the penguins themselves are pretty funny, but they're not the focus.

Then don't put them in the title!

Anyway, new volume of Bakuman (12). I'm amused by how at the beginning of the series Oha & Obata comment that turning a series into a battle manga is what happens when a series runs out of steam. Several volumes later and what's happening in Bakuman? That's right, a manga artist one-shot battle tournament!

The ironing is delicious.

I tried watching that when it started airing here but I just couldn't focus on it.

Are you thinking of Bakugan with the marble things? I'm talking about Bakuman, the next series by the pair who made Death Note about manga artists. Bakuman has never aired in the UK.
