I imagine a lot of these people angry about it are also anime fans and do the exact same thing when people watch anime.

HAH those people bawling because we want to listen to the song? Hey it caught on and thus got spread over in the West. Surely it happens with everything that gets noticed, right?

Kaito-kun wrote:Korean Pop. ("Bu-wha-?" I hear you say, but don't worry, I'm going somewhere) I don't know a whole lot about it, but I know a few people who do and two of them wound me up yesterday and that lead to me to some thinking: As you probably know PSY's song "Gangnam Style" has gained mainstream attention lately thanks to it's catchy lyrics and light-hearted video, of course this is just an internet fad - it'll pass - but according to these two K-pop fans "the masses" liking a K-pop song is a bad thing. Now it was my turn to go "Bu-wha-?"
Surprised I haven't heard this about J-pop too. Then again I don't see many people talking about either really.

It's sad but true I had it one time when someone who was into this anime show (I forget what it was called it was a long time ago) I told him I only just started watching it and then he started having a go at me and then started complaining about new people that just started getting into it won't know what it's all about because they never saw the beginning seasons of the show, and I was like ".....uhhhh well shouldn't you be glad that you can have someone else to talk to about this or something".

I don't know some people are just odd when it comes down to that and heck are PSY going to worry about the fact that there really popular because of there song and there whole music, answer: No because this is what there in the buisness for, to make music, to get there songs noticed around the world and to have a massive fanbase.

It's a bit like the comminity that we dare don't talk about (I should tell you all now in case you don't know, i'm not a Brony anymore I left that a good while ago now just......too much stuff going down and what not) but at the start they were all like "YAY MORE PEOPLE ARE LIKING THE SHOW YAAAAAY JOIN THE HERD!!!!" and all that crap, now when someone new says that they now like the show a few "veterans" as they like to call themselves always believe that new people tuning into it won't understand the true meaning to the show and how the community came about, and that to me really gets on my nerves sometimes, if you like something and you find someone who just got into the same thing that your into, you should be happy and tell them about it in more detail and stuff not go all like "OMG IT'S GETTING SO POPULAR NOOOOO!!!!!"

Sadly there are many people in this world that do that. -_-

Let me be surprised since it's the first time I hear of that kind of, hmm, attitude.

If it were me, of course I will be glad if someone enjoys the same stuff that I like, and that perhaps is not well known.
