I got bored of Total Wipeout quite quickly. It lacks that certain something special to make it really worth watching.Dr Shaneman wrote:Now that Total Wipeout has finished, Saturdays are boring again.
Takeshi's Castle did it much better 20-odd years ago and that show is repeated more often so there are times when I don't see the point in Total Wipeout.

Finally got around to checking out the first episode of A Game of Thrones, didn't bother when it aired or after since I'm still reading through the book. I'm still reading through it but decided I'm far enough in to be able to watch a few episodes without spoiling myself, plus I wanted to watch the first episode to see how amazing it was.
It was so amazing. The budget definitely shows with how well, the setpieces especially, executed it all is, though it did have the few off looking scenes and a pretty badly flubbed line.
