Because Pretty Cure is a weekly kids show and extremely marketable. I watched an episode while I was over in Japan (Don't judge me; sometimes I want to watch Sunday morning cartoons) and everything in the ad break was something branded with Pretty Cure: Sweets, toys, more sweets, different toys. Why cancel a franchise that makes so much money?

Yea pretty much. TOEI are kings of marketing. Most of the things they do are long running series that are incredibly popular. Though right now Toriko isn't quite as popular and I believe will be ending soon and replaced with more Dragonball Kai.

I admit there were still a lot of cliffhangers and it sure as hell needs a season 2. But the way it ended wasn't that bad. Especially if you put some thoughts of your own into it.

On a side note, Rozen Maiden Season 3 is to be released next year :D
I wonder where it will follow on from, where Traumed left off, or the original show, will be mostly new to me as i only own Vol 1 - 5 of the manga, as the following volumes double up in price.

6 - $25
7 - $50
8 - $100

:(

Also I really don't want a Season 2. The ending was great as it was, even with the few plot holes.

Was it a Wolfrun or Majorina episode?

I was going to mention this a few days ago but thought no one would care as usual.
Really glad it's getting a third season.

They did what they could with the ending, so credits to them, as long as it stays where it is then i'm happy.

I should really have another read through but having sent my tablet back & the auto rotation on my phone annoying me, i don't have a suitable reader.

You're going to have to elaborate.

There are 4 main villains in the current precure (which I assume is the one you watched), Wolfrun (a wolf guy), Majorina (a witch), Akuoni (a red ogre) and Joker. Wolfrun is the best but Majorina's episodes are usually pretty fun, but Akuoni's are nearly all shit and he's a terrible character. Joker rarely shows up to be worth mentioning (he's the 2nd best though).
