I'm quite a half-casual Minecraft player, I'll admit it.
Actually I know quite a bit beyond the basics - I just can't find a good multiplayer server for the life of me. >:
The users here creating a server of their own to show off their awesome creations like those in this thread could help.
Minecraft!
I can host a server... and do for me & a few friends
But as soon as you get 1 person with a bad connection, it ruins it for everyone else
That & i can't leave it running 24/7 for fear of it melting (chucks the temps for the CPU upto about 85 - 90 & HDD upto 45 - 50))
Edit:
On a side note, heres the last small project me & my mate Jon undertook
There is other stuff (including a brum car) but i don't have snaps of them uploaded anywhere yet

It's been awhile since the last time, but -tada- there he is.

Well, if you want to do the same there is the plan and also a Schematic file to use with MCEdit (PC version only) to import this glorious logo into your own world without pain.
See ya.

If you want to do it there is the plan and also a shematic file to use with MCEdit (PC version only), so you can put this gorgeous logo into your own world without pain.

^ That's actually pretty cool; I'm surprised no-one has commented on it before now.
Lately my Minecraft experience has been nothing but digging tunnels in order to expand my railway network.
In future I shall build settlements on the server closer to one another. Or at least on the same continent as one another.
It's a creative server, with a whitelist, if anyone wants to play let me know what your MC username is (so I can add you to the whitelist) and then connect to the IP. The IP is 192.210.233.41:25565

Hey all I wanna bring this thread back to life as I have setup a Minecraft server for RadioSEGA! Right now just getting the basics setup for the server and for all to play. Currently there's a Lobby and a Creative area. I will build a Survival area too soon, but just focusing on getting the thing ready. Sound interesting?
FastFeet's Mix ~ Coming Soon...
I should be coming into ownership of an old Dell PE server so my laptop shall no longer bear the burden of Hosting & playing (though this i5/7680 does it well)
2.8ghz Eeon (Dual Core)
3x76GB SCSI (Scuzzi YAY!)
1GB RAM (LOL, that needs an upgrade)
Wonder if it will get any better speeds seeing as it has proper networking, this laptop gets about 1.1mbps upload. Only time will tell!
