The framework of the OS, IE from Windows Xp to Vista Synth Sound was removed from the OS, but was addable via Direct X & a few tweaks. Whereas in W7 it isn't possible to get it working as far as i know.

Small changes like that which don't affect the masses but will affect a select few.

Edit: Pretty sure they removed the classic shell as well as as aero & the silly Metro UI is always on & non stoppable via normal means.

Yeah, with my very limited dealings with the OS via PC shops and the like, it seems as though W8's desktop mode is based on Windows 7.

Doesn't bother me too much personally, I've not used the classic desktop since XP.

Finally got the SSD I had RMAed 4 months ago. I had originally bought an OCZ Agility 3 60gb but probably since that's out of stock they sent this Samsung 830 series 64gb one.

Remind me later. I don't want funny looks from the person who is currently in the kitchen when I go in there to photograph a mug.

Although I wouldn't get your hopes up; it's an anime related mug.

I knew you'd bring back some CDs.
Never heard of Capsule though.

I think you'd love 'em.

Here's a link to one of their tracks in the "What're you listening to now?" thread.
