With that, another batch of news are out. Seems SEGA and Nintendo have signed a contract that SEGA will only be doing Sonic games exclusive on Nintendo consoles.
Nintendo has announced it has entered an exclusive worldwide partnership with SEGA to produce Sonic games, the first of which will be Sonic: Lost World.
It's confirmed, through Gamesindustry, that the three Sonic titles under SEGA/Nintendo's partnership are Sonic: Lost World, M&S at the Sochi Winter Olympics, and a unannounced third title to be revealed along the coming weeks/months.
I like the fact that Sega and Nintendo are branching out by working together. But its a bummer for a title being limited to the same system. Don't get me wrong the Wii-U and 3DS have a lot of possibility. Just feels like the rest of the gaming community is going to miss out on something diverse and interesting.
In a way I'm glad cause now I won't have to worry about getting the PS4 or the Xbox720 for a while but I don't know why and I might be a prick for this but I just don't like Nintendo and SEGA working together.
I know it's for the best and for the money but my inner self can't help it. I just don't to see the two companies work together!
