Feel Sad For Me...
My parents got me a present for Christmas... It was Sonic 06.Opinions on my parents?
Gotta Juice!
Well, they obviously did not know that this is a bad game, so they thought it was a nice gift.
So, all you can do is say thank you, because they do love you. In the end it is the thought that matters.
They wanted to get you something Sonic related that you would like and they did. They had no idea that this game was bad.
Besides, you can play it and have a few laughs at its glitches and bugs

I don't know if I can.
Your parents brought you gifts. Sure it's not the game you wanted. But hey at least they showed some sense of caring enough to get you something that interests you. And by that I mean your interest in Sonic.
I didn't get anything (well I didn't expect to get anything, but that's beside the point) but hey it happens.
Your Christmas was better than mine I know that much. Hell; it didn't feel like the holiday for me yesterday.

Thank you Kaito. Can't have said it better myself.Kaito-kun wrote:No.
Your parents believed they were buying you a gift you would enjoy. They were trying to show they care about you and your interests. There are people out there - they may even be on this very forum - who got less than you. So be grateful and stop whining.
Think about what Christmas means to you. If it means being spoilt every single year, then you are going to have to draw a line to save any form of disappointment.
Myself, I may have had a crappy year work wise - even had some extreme downer moments - but my family was there when I needed them the most. It's that kind of compassion that I feel would make me a totally different person without it.
So next time you open a shitty present that you didn't want - and admit it, if you get many gifts there are bound to be a few - go sell them. Use the earnings to buy yourself a better game, or add to your college fund, or save for a holiday... Or anything you really want
