Sega is forming a new analytical team based out of San Francisco. Looks like one of the key things they will be analyzing is online data from their games.

I know recently they have had to tweak some of their releases (Sonic Lost World). Some analytical studies of their games could find what users are doing and how to help them enjoy their games more. Also could show them what aspects of their games users are drawn to.

The analytical work could just be for basic online sales and stuff too.

People also want options to select original JP voices in their games from what I've seen.

Dunno, but Neptunia isn't a SEGA game.

Well... not completely, but their name is tied to it.

Not enough to matter, they didn't have any involvement in developing or publishing it.

Well we're never going to see another SEGA developed RPG released in the west so it's a bit of a moot point!

Will be interesting to see if their purchase of Atlus changes things since SEGA were pretty good about having dual audio. iirc Resonance of Fate and Valkyria were dual audio. The last one (yakuza 4/dead souls) didn't even have an english dub in the first place!
