Well the Metroid franchise is dead, so maybe I'll at least check out the demo of the 3DS version.

The problem also is that Sega's "aimed for children" thing isn't working. Most kids nowadays would rather prefer to play CoD or some other shooter if they have a console and if they don't, then it's on to the mobile phone games that their parents allow. There's little place left for "Child friendly" games were kids actually want to play. It's how the world is. I admit we Sonic fans aren't any better of course and are never really happy with what Sega or Sonic team makes. But honestly, it's not like Sega really listens properly. When they DO listen, they rush things and give us unfinished product. In the end, Sega just doesn't learn. That's really what it all is.

At this point can we just give Rise of Lyric the good ol "Old Shame/Never Live It Down" combo?

Good. It deserves everything its getting. We shouldn't be paying for incomplete games.

At this point it's a "jumping on the bandwagon" kind of deal. Yeah, the game is bad and should get flak, but to me it's just more of the same plus it's getting boring too.

Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric demo gave me bad times. I felt bored playing all 3 sections of the demo, I would rather be playing Sonic 06 of all games over this and one of the many games that make me rage because the Homing Attack targets would not work at all in one of the sections to get over regardless of having the option to progress over Amy's section.

I don't see myself buying this until it's dirt cheap. I mean ALIENS COLONIAL MARINES DIRT CHEAP (I picked it up for £3 xD)

The WiiU version does seem to be getting a lot of attention drawn towards it. Maybe because since the WiiU is single handedly supported by Nintendo, has had continuously great games released and then this shit had the audacity to show up and be garbage.

Anyway I haven't played it, but my point is that I have played the 3DS version and that was fucking awful and seems to be getting a free pass because it's not as bad.

Hey at least Sanzaru Games (the ones behind Shattered Crystal) are willing to admit the faults publicly unlike Big Red Button who just outright fell off the radar.

Well, curiosity killed the cat...why not delve a little deeper; you may find something you like.
