Despite it being pretty much Rush 3, I love the crap out of it! I've played it three times so far and am now trying it again. Can't wait to get my hands on the full game, both Wii and DS versions.

Had the same reaction too. Unfortunately.

But as I played the Wii demo at PAX before, I did give the DS one a whirl. It's not bad actually. Even if it's Rush 3 basically, it is a great innovation from those.

Lol, and I thought I was the only one who played it for 5 times now. :P
But I am only getting the Wii version and I dont have any plans on buying the DS version untill I buy the other Sonic games I need. So first is Sonic 4, than Sonic & Sega All stars racing, Sonic and mario by the olympic winter games and than some older games like SA2B and some GBA sonic games like Sonic Advance 1/2/3, Sonic Battle and Sega all stars pinball.
I know, thats a lot of games, but the sold sonic games really rarely in Iran, and when I came to Ausralia it was like having to start from beggining. :P
But I am happy as I am. I have no regrets at all in fact!
You know what they say (Or atleast what I say):
It might be just a few steps for a full collection but it's a giant leap for a Sonic fan! :P

But yeah, going back on topic, I really liked it and I played it about 5 times. Quite a good game. I was king of dissapointed by the white wisp. I knew it was a boost but I was imagining some speciall boost.

So am I the only person who thought that red wisp was pointless?

Ncie little demo that really did'nt give to much away. Very fast moving though and nice music also, changing under water. Nice little touch!

Yeah, I think your the only one. I thought the red wisp was quite a good thing and trying to get to higher grounds was heaps easier.

But yeah, the change that was made to the song when you went underwater was quite a nice tuch. :P
Still, I really liked the tricks a lot. I am really happy that the homing attacks is in the game though. It's really usefull too.

Played it ten times before my brother forced me off my DS to play Mario Party with him. The music changing underwater is a nice touch, and using the wisps was easier than I thought it would be. The different routes through the level is nice and reminds me a bit of the classics. Very fast-paced, and like in Sonic 4, the homing attack adds to the game instead of detracting from it.

I've just got round to trying the demo out and it's pretty much as everyone else has said and as expected. It's not really Sonic Colours - it's Sonic Rush 3. Oh, and as I loved the other two Sonic Rush games, that isn't necessarily a criticism!

It is weird though not having the trick system in place. I'm so used to pressing the R button while playing a Sonic DS game, so it'll take a while for it not to be weird when pressing it does nothing.

While I am looking forward to the Wii version the most (and playing the DS demo doesn't change that) it still looks like a good, solid Sonic handheld game and I can't wait to get my hands on it come next Friday!
