Well it's a legit question. I asked because if Sonic Chronicles was the only one or close to that it'd be more understandable that you don't find it a terrible piece of shit.

I suppose. But it did use the DS' touch screen to the maximum.

And the only thing that did bother me was the final level which was easier than fighting the first enemy in the game.

Using the touchscreen all the time isn't always a good thing, especially when it's used badly like it is on Sonic Chronicles.

Yeah, the responsiveness isn't great. It's not too bad during battles, but the rest of the time it's not fantastic.

Looks like we've established the answer is "none".

Anyway..last night I decided to give Shining Force 3 on the Saturn a go. Very addicting, but shithard. Anybody else played it?

Oh yes. Love that game (and Shining: The Holy Ark too for that matter). The story felt allot more mature than the earlier ones, and the music is just awesome. Motoi Sakuraba sure knew his stuff back then. Nowdays all his scores sound just the same.

Sadly I haven't played through it all since, as you said, it's shithard. Also the fact that it's just a third of the whole game sure doesn't make me more motivated to finish it.

Yeah..I'm hoping I can find translations of the second and third parts.

How it's used in battles is crap aswell, it's like they saw M&L's awesome combat didn't get it had simple commands and threw Elite Beat Agents in there rather awfully, especially since if you've played Elite Beat Agents and you want to do the commands by rythem.

The only touch screen part I found a little hard is when you're chasing the enemies down, or they're chasing you, and you have to jump over obstacles. Sometimes it feels as though you're almost having to make two characters jump at once.

^It isn't that hard. The parts with 2 or even 3 character jumping at once is also easy. I managed.
