Oh right, yeah. That'd be quite nice I suppose, but I can't see it happening anytime soon, what with the immediate focus bound to be on PSO2.

Doesn't have to be on the DS. Could be an HD-ish remake like something you'd see on PSN or Live Arcade. Earthworm Jim's a pretty good example.

I'm just kidding with you. Though Earthworm Jim is a horrible example since it loses so much of it's charm when played through again you clean up the graphics and make them really flat.

Alright, better example. the new art style to King Of Fighters. IMO, that series SERIOUSLY needed that update.

But yeah, you get my point. I think it'd be really cool to see a modern version of the original Phantasy Star.

personally Panzer Dragoon and Skies of Arcadia are my favourate and of course Sonic Chronicles and the Dark Brotherhood, mostly because me and my friends love making it seem like 'Dexter' is perfect for Amy Rose XD D...and making it seem like Dexter is infact Eggman in certain comedy fanfiction
The difference between the right thing and the wrong thing is what people believe
Officially a crazy fanfiction writer who has mini muses that like to argue with each other

I tried Skies of Arcadia about a year back back since so many seems to love it, and I do like Rieko Kodamas stuff (still hoping for a translation of 7th Dragon). And while I loved the world, the characters, the setting, and even the story, I just couldn't enjoy the battle system. And that pretty much kills the whole experience for me.

I thought Skies of Arcadias battle systems is one of the better ones. The AP bar at least makes you think about what to use instead of just spamming stuff constantly. The ability levelling system I could give or take though.
