Nah, TCGs are fair enough.

Would Top Trumps be considered a TCG? I loved those back in the day, had a pack of Spiders ones...scared my sister shitless with the pictures :D

Hm... I don't know. Does top trumps have any trading? I was under the impression you play with a single deck that you buy.

No trading. They just had different decks with a different theme.

Thought so. Also Top Trumps doesn't have any deck building or strategy and is for babies. How's that for your more than nope.

Edit: Fun little thing I thought of, and in a category I forgot to mention; Fallout New Vegas has it's own TCG minigame (it is not the only game that does) but what's interesting about it is that it actually uses a normal deck of cards yet still has deck building, strategy (probably) and trading.

Do card mini-games count? If so I'd like to mention Triple Triad.

If you can see me, welcome to the HB Club: RadioSEGA Branch! Take a seat, and hopefully you'll be released soon. Or maybe you'll rot here forever, who knows?

Yes, absolutely! I'd love to find out about other games that have them as well!
Such as RAGE which has a TCG, though I'm not sure if there's much trading and deck building looks to be on a per game basis. Not seen the full game play of it yet but it seems interesting.

And for people who like the youghyo, the XBLA game is 400 points (like 3 quid) but card packs are still 160 (about a quid).
